Kesefim Investment Club
We at Temple Beth El have a small investment club which invests mainly in stocks on the major stock exchange. The club was started in 1995 and has continued to be profitable, even with the technology bubble burst a few years ago. For information, our portfolio is up 11% in the first 6 months this year.
The initial investment is a minimum of $1,000. Future investments of $250 can then be made quarterly. We usually meet on the first Sunday of every month when we review our portfolio and discuss whether to buy, sell, or hold each stock and vote whether to invest any cash on hand.
The current members have some real diverse knowledge and the meetings can be very enjoyable! If nothing else, you will usually gain some interesting information. Call Raphael Sarawesky, President, at 368-2961 if you would like to know more.
Chaverim
Chaverim is a Temple Men’s group (mostly retired) that gets together twice a month on Wednesday afternoons. The first Wednesday of the month is for lunch and cards at TBE. The third Wednesday is for day trips. This is an informal group with your only obligation being to RSVP for activities.

We are a group who love to play just for the fun of it.
We play Tuesday afternoons at 1:00pm and Thursdays at 6:30pm.
